Susan and Greg McGee, owners of Classic Bay Chesapeakes, occasionally have puppies available from carefully planned breedings that are intended to promote those traditional Chesapeake looks and their legendary desire to retrieve.  Soundness in the sire and dam is mandatory; both parents must be OFA certified good or excellent, and Certified clear eyes.

Classic Bay Chesapeakes must also have warm, friendly dispositions.  Besides being versatile in the field and the show ring, just as important to Susan and Greg is that Classic Bay Chessies be good family companions.

Before going to their new homes, all Classic Bay puppies are temperament tested, socialized, and introduced to water and retrieving.  Purchasers of Classic Bay pups also receive a written guarantee that their new family addition will have OFA certified sound hips and a clear eye Certification at two years of age.
